The Pimali Foundation Hospitality Training Resort is a 4 Bungalow country resort which is also a key part of the foundation’s hospitality training school. Providing guests with a quality stay, the resort is run by the students of the foundation who are all from under-privileged backgrounds and being given an opportunity by the Pimali Foundation to embark on a career in hospitality, from hotel work to kitchen and restaurant. The Pimali Resort is located in the countryside, surrounded by rice fields and gardens, near Nongkhai and makes the perfect base to explore and enjoy this fascinating region which is famed for its unique culture, traditions, beautiful natural scenery and fantastic cuisine. The resort’s restaurant is not to be missed sharing as it does farm to table dining from the foundation’s own farm and gardens. So, the freshest flavours and best quality produce is guaranteed. Menus offer dishes from the local Isan cuisine along with classic Thai cuisine and some European favourites. The resort welcomes guests to learn about rice farming and get hands-on in the gardens or even catch your own fish from the foundation’s ponds and then learn to cook local dishes with your freshly harvested produce. As a guest of the Pimali Foundation Resort you will be helping them continue their essential work supporting the futures of countless underprivileged youth.

“Pimali is a humanitarian (NGO) project based on the practical training concept of ‘Learning by doing’. The aim of the Pimali project is to assist underprivileged youth and orphans aged minimum 17 and older, who have finished their compulsory schooling in Thailand. The aid involves providing them with basic practical hotel training of one year, in order to secure a professional future for them in the hospitality industry, as well as financial independence. Pimali will help fight exploitation of disadvantaged young people and reduce poverty in Thailand’s north-eastern region. Every Thai Baht spent at Pimali is considered as a donation and helps with students’ scholarships.”
