“Maduzi Hotel is the creation of the Nualkhair family. The décor is based on our past family roots: a mixture of influences from the Aryans from the Qum of Iran, the Chinese Cantonese region, and Thailand from the old Siam era. The hotel is run by my brother, Kawin and me, Wikki. While I take care of operations, my brother takes care of everything else. My sister-in-law is a food critic and a journalist so she is constantly testing our services and food from our restaurant. We would like to showcase the home-style service of the Nualkhair family to guests and visitors who get the chance to enter our hotel. We want to use our own brand of Thai hospitality to make them feel very welcome, while not feeling so estranged from their own culture. We are able to do this because we've grown up in both the East and the West.”
